By using StemSlice, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not upload files or use the service.
StemSlice is an online AI audio separation tool. It lets users upload an audio file, preview separated stems, and unlock full-quality downloads with credits.
You are responsible for every file you upload. By uploading audio, you confirm that you own the content, have permission to process it, or are otherwise legally allowed to use it with an audio separation tool.
You may not use StemSlice to infringe copyrights, violate platform terms, distribute unauthorized stems, evade technical restrictions, or create unlawful content.
Separated vocals, instrumentals, drums, bass, and other stems remain subject to the rights in the original recording and composition. Extracted stems remain the property of the original rights holders. Commercial use, public release, redistribution, or performance usually requires permission.
The free tier may allow up to 3 uploads per day, up to 30MB and 6 minutes per file, with 30-second previews and optional 128kbps watermarked demo downloads. Abuse prevention may use IP address, browser fingerprint, and local device tokens.
One full 4-stem download costs 1 credit. Credit packs are one-time purchases, and credits do not expire.
Failed processing jobs should not consume credits. If a credit is deducted for a failed job, contact support.
Uploads and generated stems are temporary. Source files and processing results are designed to be permanently deleted after 24 hours through object storage lifecycle rules and scheduled cleanup.
StemSlice may use third-party services for hosting, storage, payment, analytics, authentication, and AI processing, including Cloudflare R2 or S3-compatible storage, Stripe, Replicate, and analytics providers.
StemSlice does not provide YouTube URL extraction or downloading. Upload files only when you have the right to process them.
AI separation quality varies by recording, mix density, genre, source quality, and queue load. StemSlice is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StemSlice is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or from your use of extracted stems.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
