A four-stem model predicts a vocal family, not the original multitrack session. Lead, doubles, harmonies, choir parts, and vocal effects can all appear in the vocal stem. That is useful for many covers and remixes, but it is not a promise of separate lead and backing-vocal files.

A vocal that sounds clean over a new beat may still reveal artifacts when played alone. Test an exposed intro, a dense chorus, and a sustained final note. Those moments cover different failure modes and make the preview a better guide than judging only the loudest ten seconds.

The output can contain lead, doubles, backing parts, and shared ambience because those elements overlap in the mastered recording.
